DEE-RUNK
So my time at home was actually nicer than I thought it would be. My parents didn't nag me, I made some money, I golfed and I drank. Together, those 4 things make for happiness.
The golf tournament on friday went surprisingly well. The team finished 5 under and placed 4th out of 20 teams. I was happy that we got to drink while on the course. 6 beers later, we were having a great time, but the guys in front of us, all thirty-somethings that were executives at Pfizer, were doing even better than we were in the drunkenness department. You would have swore that it was NASCAR the way the tires on the golf carts were squeeling. Highlight of the day though (other than the beer, of course)-- my head on collision with another golf cart at full speed. My cart, of course, was not damaged, but the other cart, driven by Pat Riley was in terrible need of a wheel alignment after we got done with it.
The afterparty was amazing. The food was ORGASMIC (ribs, steak, fish, chicken, corn and baked potatos) after a day of golf and drinking. Plus-- TWO KEGS and we were the 6th group to get there. Old people trying to reminisce about the days they could get 19 year old girls, people tripping all over themselves. Just a great party.
After that, to Pat's we went, drank more and watched "Miracle." Overall, I think I drank like 30-32 beers throughout the day, and I was drunk until around noon today (saturday) before the hangover hit me. Too much beer. Now I realize why I stick to hard shit!
